Recipe By: Pantry Cooking II
Serves: 10 patties
Ingredients:
1 cup water
1 TBSP vegetable oil
1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp thyme
Dash cayenne pepper
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp rubbed sage
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp leaf oregano
1 TBSP nutritional yeast flakes (available in the bulk bins at HEB)
1 cup quick oats
Directions:
1. Combine water, seasonings and yeast flakes in a 2-quart non-stick saucepan and bring to a boil.
2. Add oats, reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes or until very thick.
3. Drop spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet and shape each into a patty.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes on each side (30 minutes total).
